maybe baby

I am a Mister Brightside-Girl.

My eyes hurt from the light coming out of this door
that country behind it is beautiful, strange and so cruel.
My lungs wouldn’t catch no oxygen there, I wasn’t told.
I was crawling up the stairs to that Party You fooled.
You invited yourself, your foot in the door.

Didn’t you hear the music is outside?!
Oh, I  made you deaf and myself cry.
Stuffed Feathers in your Heart & Ears.
What silly bird. It learned now how to fly!

The old lake is frozen up, covered with glistening shades.
It’s all shiny new -still fragile to break,
but as the cracking gets stronger,
the fear just fades.

Leave the bags up there in the dark,
Come chase the dancing kids with me down in the yard!
Their heels are cracking, soon they’ll grow old.

There is never a halfway passage,
No Maybe Baby, you haven’t been told.

I am running down the stairs towards the sun,
close the door behind you, this isn’t fun.
I wanna dance with you and walk on,
I look in one direction where I know I belong.

I am a Mister-Brightside-Girl.

I died so I could haunt You

I am totally in love with the feeling this label evokes:
THE LAKE & STARS

Their Lingerie makes me want to go on a self-finding-trip,
chase black cats in the darkest garden on a dewy summer night.
Especially the mysterious 70ies-vibe of their SS 2011 collection.

I really love their approach towards lingerie design,
playing with layers on the skin,
to be able to sculpt our body but in total respect on how a woman
will feel wearing it.
You are so right ladies, if it’s not comfortable we do not feel confident!
Lingerie should always make ourselfs feel best in just our skin- but with some little
layers on to enhance our best features.

cheers to New York for that!

holy sunday

Sunday, February 20, 2011

Holy sunday
end of the week
you were making me lazy
you were letting me dream
of naughty adventures
chocolates and cream
I used to pray, so long ago
begging for changes,
seems like ages buried under the snow.

I am nor saint,
but maybe a sinner!
Naughty or  nice,
Today I make the rules.
It is up to me,
to care and let go.
Why would I give the fun part of the job
to someone up there?

mary sunday to you all.
